IndianMarriage.com allows parents and guardians to create and manage profiles on behalf of their family members with full consent.
- Register as a family member and select "Creating profile for my son/daughter" during sign-up.
- Enter the candidate's details including education, profession, lifestyle, and family background.
- Upload photos with the candidate's permission. Ensure they are recent and clearly show the candidate.
- Add family details such as family type, siblings, parents' professions, and cultural preferences.
- Link the candidate's own account if they wish to co-manage the profile.
Family-managed profiles are clearly labelled so potential matches know a family member is involved. This builds transparency and trust from the start.
Reviewing Matches for Your Child
As a family member, you can browse and shortlist matches on behalf of your child using the Family Dashboard.
Daily Recommendations
Each day, the platform sends curated match suggestions based on your stated preferences. Review these recommendations and shortlist profiles that look promising.
Search and Filter
Use advanced filters to narrow down matches by community, education, profession, location, income, and more. Save your preferred filter combinations for quick access.
Shortlisting
Add profiles to your shortlist for discussion with your child. Shortlisted profiles are saved in a dedicated section and can be shared with other family members linked to the account.
Match Comparison
Compare up to three shortlisted profiles side by side, reviewing compatibility scores, education, family background, and lifestyle preferences at a glance.
Communicating with Other Families
Family-to-family communication is a cornerstone of the Indian matchmaking process. Our platform facilitates respectful, structured conversations.
Sending Interest on Behalf
Express interest in a match from the family account. Your message is clearly marked as coming from a family member, setting the right tone for the conversation.
Secure Messaging
After mutual interest, communicate through our in-app messaging system. All conversations are private and encrypted. You can share additional photos and documents securely.
Family Introduction Requests
When both families are interested, use the formal introduction request feature to propose a meeting. The platform helps coordinate schedules and suggests appropriate formats.
Keep initial messages warm and respectful. Mention specific aspects of the profile that caught your attention rather than sending generic messages.

Compatibility reports give families a comprehensive view of how well two profiles align across multiple dimensions.
AstroMatch Report
The detailed Guna Milan report shows the 36-point score, individual guna breakdowns, Manglik compatibility, and Dasha period analysis. Both profiles must have birth details for this report.
Lifestyle Compatibility
This section covers diet preferences, career ambitions, living arrangements, financial outlook, and family planning views. Areas of strong alignment and potential differences are clearly highlighted.
Family Background Analysis
Compare family structures, cultural traditions, regional backgrounds, and community values. This helps families assess overall cultural fit beyond individual compatibility.
Downloading Reports
Premium members can download detailed compatibility reports as PDF documents for offline review and family discussions.

Profile Verification
Look for the verified badge on profiles. Verified members have completed identity checks through government ID and phone verification. We strongly recommend interacting only with verified profiles.
Red Flags to Watch For
Be cautious of profiles that refuse video calls, pressure for quick decisions, ask for money, or provide inconsistent information. Report any suspicious behaviour immediately.
Meeting Safety
Always arrange first meetings in public places. Inform other family members about meeting plans. Use the platform's check-in feature to share your location during meetings.
Reporting Concerns
Use the report button on any profile to flag inappropriate behaviour, fraudulent information, or harassment. Our trust and safety team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
Never share financial information, bank details, or sensitive documents with matches before meeting in person and establishing trust through multiple interactions.
Subscription Management
Manage your family account subscription to get the most out of the platform.
Plan Options
Choose from Free (basic browsing), Silver (messaging and shortlisting), Gold (AstroMatch and priority matching), or Platinum (dedicated matchmaker and all features). Family accounts share the subscription across linked profiles.
Upgrading Your Plan
Upgrade anytime from your Account Settings. The price difference is prorated for the remaining billing period. All upgrades take effect immediately.
Billing and Payments
View payment history, download invoices, and update payment methods from the Billing section. We accept all major credit cards, UPI, net banking, and international payment methods.
Cancellation
Cancel your subscription at any time. You retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees apply.
