Every member completes a background check & clearance before using IndianMarriage.com: a live photo taken with your camera, a government ID (passport, driving licence or state/national ID) reviewed by our team, and an internet search by our reviewers.
A profile shows the Background cleared badge once one of our reviewers has cleared it.
What the clearance is
A live photo
You take a photo with your camera while you complete the clearance.
A government ID
You upload your passport, driving licence or state/national ID, and our team reviews it.
An internet search
Our reviewers search the internet for what is publicly written about you.
Who sees what
Only IndianMarriage.com staff reviewers see your live photo, your ID images and what they find.
Other members see only the Background cleared badge on your profile, once a reviewer has cleared you.
What we don't do
The clearance is these three steps and nothing more. We don't investigate another member's education, employment, finances, family or criminal record for you, and we don't work with an investigation agency.
