Background check & clearance
Every member completes a background check & clearance before using IndianMarriage.com: a live photo taken with your camera, a government ID (passport, driving licence or state/national ID) reviewed by our team, and an internet search by our reviewers.

What the background check & clearance is
- A live photo taken with your camera
- A government ID (passport, driving licence or state/national ID) reviewed by our team
- An internet search by our reviewers
Only IndianMarriage staff reviewers see your photo, your ID and what they find. Other members see only a “Background cleared” badge on your profile, once a reviewer clears you.
The privacy policy explains what is collected, why, and how long it is kept.
