Bride / Groom Workflows
Create Your Profile
- Register with your email or phone number
- Enter basic details: name, age, education, and profession
- Upload photos and write your bio
- Add family background and community information
- Set your partner preferences (age, location, education)
- Verify your identity with a government ID
Verified profiles receive a trust badge and appear higher in search results. Complete at least 80% of your profile for best match quality.
Search for Matches
- Open the Browse section from the main navigation
- Use filters: community, location, education, profession
- Toggle between ModernMatch (AI) and AstroMatch (Vedic) results
- Review compatibility scores and profile details
- Shortlist profiles you are interested in
Try both ModernMatch and AstroMatch to see different compatibility perspectives. Save your frequently used filters for quick access.
Send Interest & Connect
- Visit a profile you are interested in
- Click Send Interest to express your intent
- Wait for the other person or their family to accept
- Once accepted, start a secure conversation via Messaging Hub
- Exchange additional details and get to know each other
Write a personalized message when sending interest. Profiles with a personal note see 3x higher acceptance rates.
Schedule a Meeting
- Open the Messaging Hub with your accepted match
- Click Schedule Meeting in the conversation toolbar
- Choose meeting type: video call, phone call, or in-person
- Select a date and time that works for both
- Receive a confirmation with calendar invite and reminders
Video calls are a great first step before meeting in person. Always meet in a public place for the first in-person meeting.
Family Member Workflows
Manage Family Profile
- Sign up as a Family Member and select your relationship
- Create a profile on behalf of your son, daughter, or relative
- Enter their details with their consent
- Upload photos and set partner preferences together
- Link the profile to your family member's own account (optional)
Always create a profile with the knowledge and consent of the person it represents. Linked profiles allow both family and individual to manage activity.
Review Matches
- Open the Matches tab in the family dashboard
- Browse recommended and incoming interest requests
- View detailed profiles including AstroMatch compatibility
- Accept or decline interest on behalf of your family member
- Add notes to each match for family discussion
Use the notes feature to record key observations from each profile. Share the shortlist with other family members before making decisions.
Contact Other Families
- From an accepted match, open the Messaging Hub
- Choose to message the individual or their family contact
- Introduce yourself and your family background
- Discuss compatibility, expectations, and next steps
- Schedule a family-to-family video call or meeting
Family-to-family conversations build trust faster. Be respectful, transparent, and open about your expectations from the start.
Track Match Status
- Open the Status Tracker in your family dashboard
- View all active matches and their current stage
- Check stages: Interest Sent, Accepted, In Conversation, Meeting Scheduled
- Set reminders for follow-up actions
- Archive matches that are no longer being pursued
Review your active matches weekly and follow up within three days of acceptance for the best response rates.
Matchmaker / Agent Workflows
Register as an Agent
- Visit the Matchmaker Services page and click Register
- Provide your professional details and experience
- Upload business credentials or certifications
- Set your service areas and specializations
- Submit for verification by our trust team
- Once approved, your agent profile goes live
Agents with detailed profiles and verified credentials attract more clients. Include testimonials from past successful matches.
Browse & Recommend Profiles
- Open your Agent Dashboard and go to Browse
- Use advanced filters to find compatible profiles
- Review AstroMatch and ModernMatch compatibility scores
- Select profiles and click Recommend to Client
- Add a personal note explaining why you recommend the match
Quality over quantity: send 3 to 5 highly compatible recommendations per week rather than dozens of generic suggestions.
Manage Client Portfolio
- Go to the Clients section in your agent dashboard
- View all active clients and their match preferences
- Track match progress for each client
- Send status updates and schedule consultations
- Generate progress reports for client reviews
Schedule a monthly review call with each client to discuss progress and adjust preferences based on their feedback.
Facilitate Introductions
- Once both parties express interest, initiate an introduction
- Send a formal introduction message to both families
- Coordinate meeting schedules between the two parties
- Provide guidance and support throughout the process
- Follow up after meetings to gather feedback

Vendor Workflows
List Wedding Services
- Register as a vendor on IndianMarriage.com
- Choose your service category (venue, catering, photography, etc.)
- Add your business name, description, and service areas
- Upload photos of your work and set pricing tiers
- Publish your listing and wait for verification
High-quality photos and detailed pricing attract more enquiries. List at least 10 portfolio images for best visibility.
Manage Bookings
- Open the Vendor Dashboard and go to Bookings
- View incoming booking requests with event details
- Accept or decline requests based on availability
- Confirm event dates and send quotes to couples
- Update booking status as you progress (confirmed, in-progress, completed)
Respond to booking requests within 24 hours. Fast responses lead to higher booking conversion rates.
Respond to Enquiries
- Check the Enquiries tab in your vendor dashboard
- Review each enquiry with event type, date, and budget
- Reply with a personalized quote and availability
- Share additional portfolio items relevant to their event
- Follow up if no response within three days

- Navigate to Analytics in your vendor dashboard
